Welcome to Alta Mura
Situated along the Garden Route in the idyllic seaside town of Plettenberg Bay, our Southern Italy inspired home, Alta Mura, offers the perfect coastal destination for sandy beach holidays and experiencing the iconic Garden Route.
About Us
We are a family of five who have travelled the world for many years, and being split across continents we needed a family getaway home for us all to gather at a couple of times a year.

Alta Mura was originally owned by our mother's childhood friends, where she spent many of her school and university holidays. A few years ago we were lucky enough to stumble across the house for sale from the original owners and purchased our dream home, which we would love to share with everyone else!
Activities
Plett is spoilt with some of the most beautiful white sandy beaches with crystal blue waters. Offering everything from lazy days relaxing on Look Out Beach, to long beach walks along Robberg searching for pansy shells, or more adventurous activities.
With access to a number of lovely beaches, walks along the coast and in the nearby forests, the Mediterranean climate allows for year round activities for everyone.

Offering breath-taking views over Plettenberg Bay, Alta Mura provides comfort and luxury - inspired by Southern Italian architecture with indigenous African influences, the house comprises of beautiful
outdoor/indoor living spaces, as well as a private swimming pool and large garden.

Privately located set back from the main beach, Alta Mura is a short distance from the main street of local shops and restaurants, Lookout Beach and the lagoon.
